Disability Inclusion & Advocacy
Championing rights, representation and barrier-free participation for persons with disabilities.
Project Aasraa builds a world where every person — regardless of ability or gender — is seen, supported and celebrated. We champion disability inclusion, accessibility and equality through advocacy, education and community.
Our Story
Project Aasraa began as a simple conviction shared by two students: that dignity should never depend on ability or gender. What started as conversations about the barriers we saw around us grew into a youth-led organisation working at the intersection of disability inclusion and gender equality.
We listen first. We partner with persons with disabilities, women, caregivers and communities to co-create awareness, access and opportunity — turning empathy into measurable change.
“Aasraa” means support and hope.
A shelter to lean on, and the belief that tomorrow can be more inclusive than today. That meaning guides everything we build.

What Drives Us
A society where inclusion and equality are not ideals but everyday realities — where every person with a disability and every woman lives with dignity, access and opportunity.
To advance disability inclusion, accessibility and gender equality through advocacy, education and community-led action — amplifying voices that have too often gone unheard.
Our Programs
Six focus areas, one shared goal: communities where everyone belongs.
Championing rights, representation and barrier-free participation for persons with disabilities.
Spreading practical know-how so public spaces, schools and the web work for everyone.
Empowering women and girls with voice, safety and equal opportunity to lead.
Workshops and drives that turn awareness into empathy and everyday inclusive habits.
Nurturing young changemakers with the skills and confidence to lead inclusion forward.
Collaborating with NGOs, schools and corporates to scale inclusion sustainably.
Why Our Work Matters
Persons with disabilities and women too often face barriers to education, employment, safety and basic dignity — not because of ability, but because of how the world is built. We're working to change that, together.
